There's Lana Del Rey for H&M campaign going and I'm so in love with the pics!
I mean, look at them!
She's so gorgeous! And she makes clothes look so good. Example those leggings (third from the bottom). I did saw those at H&M just last week and laughed that I wouldn't ever wear those. Now I really want to go back and try them on (though I still think they won't look good on me, I'm too short for prints in trousers or leggings).
Here is also a sneak peak of Lana Del Rey's Blue Velvet song that she recorded for H&M.
On the set with Lana Del Rey:
First I do have to say, that man! how I loved the song! I needed to search it down as soon as the show ended (if you liked it too, it's called Sisters of the Moon by Le Blonde).
I also loved the decor of the stage, very beautiful and massive.
So what I loved in the show was first of all the belts. I mean how beautiful they are! Also the minty color was pretty successful alone, but also mixed with grey.
I fly a flag for simplicity and with this collection there really was clear cuts, graphically lines and like nothing too much or too little. Absolutely gorgeous, I have to say that Herrera really nailed it this time!
Here some of my own favorites from the show:
BELTBELTBELT! Isn't amazing?
Puffsleeves I loved also. I've been into these sleeves like ages and I think it is amazing that their coming back now.
Love the luxury fabric in this pic:
Here's a pic of a big WOW dress, that red (or orange? It looked like red in the show, but in this pic it's more like orange) eye-catching fabric with just one shoulder trap is so gorgeous! Love how bold that looks like, like the dress was challenging everything around it.
This orange dress here next I loved also. So girly and chic with nothing too much, I could definitely wear it! Those stripes I'm not sure of, but the belt will save the dress!
This grey dress with yellow details and tailoring is one of my favorites of all time and I really think I'm going to need this in my wardrobe. It's really me.
And OMG the jacket here with the gold tailoring and details and puffsleeves and AH! I would definitely use it anytime!
I'm just sharing here my today's schedule. There's nothing actually too interesting, but thought it would be nice to share.
So today I was thinking to run with my baby-girl and the dog (which is visiting here in my house till Friday) to the video renting place. It's going to be like 6-7km running.
My girls is going to go sleep at noon, and with that free time I'm going to relax and watch the Carolina Herrera show from New York Fashion Week. I hope to have some time to share my thoughts of it here with you guys, but if I'm not having that time today, I'm going to do it tomorrow.
I'm also planning to meet my friend and her child AND I need to look out where to take my car, because it needs to be fixed before I'm selling it away. I hate that car, I'm having nothing but trouble with it ARGH.
I should be also calling to child health center and some schools so maybe I'm able to find a student place for myself with so flexible schedule that I don't need to put my girl to kindergarten. I was studying myself to vocational qualification in business and administration before getting pregnant and I now want to graduate before heading to a job or starting study more.
So that's it. Oh no, I do need to make my nails again, their looking hideous!
Now heading to shower, by love-ones!
Watched the Michael Kors Full Collection @Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week last night with my spouse and man! I have to say I'm a bit disappointed!
Watch it over here:
What do you think?
I can't help it, but I'm remembering all those stripes and kind of boring colors, all though I like it there were used colors! It is just that those colors are so common. Loved the turquoise (it's one of my favorite colors, so surprise!), but didn't like that stuffy red or green. Some yellow jacket were looking like raincoats.
Also I didn't get the three quite similar long black dresses at the end of the show. Pretty they were, not saying anything else, just that I think Kors should have let go with two of those. Had he too many ideas and decided to execute all of them? One of them would have made the effect. With three of them I'm just confused.
There were anyway very pretty clothes too, like the white mini dress with a silver belt or the black dress with all those rivets. Jackets were just absolutely gorgeous (all though I didn't like the yellow color) and I must have the white long jacket with silver belt.
(don't know why, but Blogger couldn't find the video straight from the youtube, that's why only link)
And highlist over here:
I liked the collection very much! Specially those short dresses was something pretty awesome and I also loved all the onepieces there were. And the turquoise color was like killer element!
I though have to say that the song was soooooo boring! Honestly it just made me want to close my eyes and go to sleep :D
